Presented at the Arsenale as part of the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, Chorus is a multimedia installation commissioned by G.A.S. Foundation and developed through research and residency activities conducted between Lagos and the G.A.S. Farm House in Ikiṣẹ.

The project draws inspiration from the Yorùbá courtyard, understood as a place of gathering, ritual and intergenerational exchange. Reinterpreted within the exhibition setting, this spatial archetype becomes both an architectural and conceptual framework for participation, dialogue and collective experience.

Solava terracotta products contribute to the physical architecture of the installation. The Genziana Sunbreaker and Solid Red Brick form a permeable enclosure that defines the space while shaping its visual identity through a careful interplay of materiality, light and geometry.

Through the expressive qualities of clay brick, the installation translates a traditional Yorùbá spatial model into a contemporary architectural language, creating a place for encounter and cultural exchange within the historic setting of the Arsenale.
